Get involved

You can participate in the student community in many ways. You can find more information in the sub pages.

• Join student organisations! TYY has over a hundred organisations, in which you can meet new people and learn new skills.
• Influence in the Student Union Council! All our members are eligible to vote and run as a candidate in the Student Union Council elections.
• Participate in the events of TYY! TYY organises traditional events annually.
• Become a volunteer in TYY! The Wings are volunteer groups that work to promote TYYs values. TYY also applies for volunteers for events every year.
• Become a tutor! Tutors have an important role supporting the new students in the beginning of their studies.
• Become a support student! Support students promote a sense of community and mental well being in the University of Turku. The goal is that nobody is left alone with their worries.
