TYY's Environmental Programme and Political Agenda in the Council
The council had a preliminary debate about the Union's Political Agenda, in which good discussions were held about new environmental policies. The new environmental programme will be during May's meeting.
The University's Sustainable Development Working Groups
TYY has representatives in the University's Steering Group for Sustainable Development, Working Group for Sustainable Campus Life and Working Group for Education of Sustainable Development where work for a more sustainable university life is progressing.
UTU Spring Cleaning Day 7th of May
The University of Turku is organizing a spring cleaning day for the entire university community, both students and staff, on Tuesday, May 7. You can participate in many different ways. The program includes inspiring talks, a parsi event. In addition, it is possible to recycle your own old textiles and small electronics at the event. Read more about the event on the intranet!
TYY x Eetti ry Doc Night 23rd of May
Together with Eetti Ry, TYY organizes a movie night and a crafting event focusing on fast fashion and clothing recycling. The event will take place on 23.5. The program includes viewing of the documentary as well as expert speeches and discussion on the topic. More info coming soon!
