The Student Union of the University of Turku is seeking additional core team members for the Development Cooperation Wing. TYY's wings are five groups consisting of volunteers working around five different themes. Each wing promotes a specific theme and is involved in making the Student Union a better place. The wings have the freedom to create new activities and shape the event culture of the Students' Union, as well as overseeing student interests at the university and in society. The wing's core team leads the wing's activities and elects its presidents from among its members.
There are five wings: the International Wing, Development Cooperation Wing, Equality Wing, Culture Wing and Environmental Wings.
We are looking for more members for the core team of the Development Cooperation wing for the spring semester 2023!
So what does the Development Cooperation Wing do?
Development Cooperation wing
- plans and implements TYY's development cooperation projects together with TYY's development cooperation sector
- promotes the UN Sustainable Development Goals in the Student Union
- organises events and activities about development cooperation and organises TYY's Sustainable Development Week together with the Environmental Wing
We are looking for more core team members for the wing. We expect applicants to be motivated and enthusiastic about their work and to be able to work in a team. Students from the Pori and Rauma campuses can also apply for the wing. The application opens at 8 February at 12.00 and closes 19 February at 23.59.

The TYY Board will consider the applications and elects the new members of the wing's core team at its meeting.
