Advance voting in the first round of the presidential election begins today. By voting you can have your say in who will be President for the next six years. Finnish citizens aged 18 or more on 28 January 2024 have the right to vote.
You can vote for any of the candidates. You can vote in advance, for example, at University Hill in Natura. See the polling places with their opening hours from here.
You will need to take along your passport, ID card, driving licence or other form of ID bearing your photo. Advance voting in Finland takes place 17–23 January, and abroad 17–20 January 2024.
