TYY´s environmental sector has kept busy during the start of the autumn. Among other things the sector has worked on updating the environmental programme and planning events.
The Student Council Has Decided on the Revisions for TYY´s Environmental Programme
In it´s September meeting, the council decided on TYY´s Environmental Programme for 2024-2028. There were many additions to the initial proposition and after the revisions the Programme will be published.
TYY is taking part in Organising Many Sustainable Themed Events
- 18.9 UTU Fair Trade workgroup will organise a panel discussion about Fair Trade in the main library between 17-19
- TYY, UTU, Unica and Kårkaféerna will organise a sustainable food week starting 30.9. The aim is to make sustainable lunch choices easier.
- the fleamarket appro will be here again on 29.10. More information will be posted to TYY´s webpages and Instagram. There is no sign up, just come and get the appropass from the stand on 29.10.
Environmental Council will bring organisations together on 4.11. between 16-18. in Turku Hall.
We will discuss TYY´s new environmental programme and its impact on the organisations. Another topic will be the coming update for environmental guide for organisations. It will be updated next year and this is the perfect change to impact the changes.
