Polaroid collage painting

On Saturday, November 16th, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, we will create polaroid collage paintings. Please note the special time!

Participants will get acquainted with the Instax Mini camera and how to use it. Taking photos with an instant camera is different from using a digital camera because composition, lighting, and focusing need to be considered mostly by hand and intuition. There are no endless options for pre- or post-editing.

Each participant will take a few photos, and one will be selected as the basis for the painting. The chosen image will be attached to a painting canvas, and the photo will be expanded upon using acrylic paints. Participants can continue working on their artwork on days when the workshop space is not otherwise in use.

The workshop is limited to 10 participants, so if you want to secure your spot, please send an email to jaripiirustaa@gmail.com. A material fee of 2–5 euros will be collected to cover part of the art supplies for the workshops.
