After the application period ends, the Network for Early-Career Researchers in Turku (NERT) will convene the meeting to make a proposal on the elected representatives.
In the election of the representatives of the doctoral researchers, attention will be paid, for example, on balanced representation of faculties and doctoral researcher positions (employed, with grant, part-time), experience and motivation for the task, balanced gender distribution, and internationality.
Doctoral researchers of the University of Turku, who have registered as present for the academic year, are eligible to apply for the positions.
The language of the meetings of both groups is Finnish. However, it is also possible for participants to use English in their own contributions.
Transparency and equality are emphasized in the application process. We hope to receive applications from many people with different backgrounds.
