Spring Cleaning Day and Fleamarket 5.5. at Educarium

Welcome to Spring Cleaning Day on 5 May at 12pm-3pm!

Do you have unwanted items or old small electronics lying around in your corners? Do you still keep clothes that are too small or broken? Join the university's spring cleaning day on May 5th. 

The University of Turku's Sustainable Campus Life working group, together with the Student Union of the University of Turku, is organising a Spring Cleaning Day for the whole university community on Monday 5 May. 

Come and shop or sell clothes and items you don't need at the flea market. The flea market will take place in the lobby on the 1st floor and 2nd floor of Educarium.  You can reserve a table at the flea market for yourself at the event. Note! The first 27  people to reserve a table will get one. The booking link can be found below. 

You can also bring your old textiles and small electronics for recycling. Recycling points can be found at Educarium from 12.00-15.00. Please remember to bring your old textiles clean and  in a plastic bag. 

There will also be a chance to hear about Fair Trade and what Fair Trade University is all about. Come and learn more whilst having a cup of fair trade coffee/tea at 13.30.  
 

PROGRAMME    

• Flea market 12.00-15.00 on the 1st and 2nd floors of Edu   
• Recycling points  12.00 to 15.00 in the lobby of the 1st floor of the Edu   
• Fairtrade coffee break 13.30-14.00 in the lobby on the 1st floor of the Edu
